About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join Sepura’s 2026 Apprenticeship Programme as a Technical Apprentice. You’ll gain hands-on experience across engineering and technical departments while working towards a Level 4 Engineering Manufacturing Technician qualification.

During the first 12-18 months, you’ll rotate through key areas of the business, helping you build a broad understanding of engineering processes before specialising in a chosen area.

Your Role Includes:

  • Learning about mechanical testing systems and instrumentation
  • Supporting quality management and internal auditing processes
  • Gaining experience in customer support and development environments
  • Developing an understanding of product management and product lifecycle
  • Working across departments such as Quality, Test & Integration, Mechanical Verification and Customer Support
  • Building professional relationships with colleagues and clients

You'll Bring:

  • GCSEs in English Language and Maths (Grade 4 or above)
  • Strong communication and IT skills
  • Attention to detail and organisational ability
  • Logical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Initiative, enthusiasm and resilience

Location: 9000 Cambridge Research Park, Beach Drive, Waterbeach, Cambridge, CB25 9TL

Hours: Monday-Thursday: 8:30am-5:00pm, Friday: 8:30am-12:30pm, 37 hours per week

Salary: £17,000 per year

Start Date: 1 September 2026

Duration: 4 years

Training Provider: Cambridge Regional College
