Citizen Hubs are vital social infrastructure that drives positive, lasting change. We create trusted, locally-led spaces that bring together citizens, local businesses and services under one roof. We create the right conditions for communities to thrive by providing support, guidance, opportunity, and a sense of belonging.

Communities are facing fragmentation, isolation and complex systems that are hard to navigate. This leaves people trapped in a maze with no map. The Citizen Hub exists to reconnect people, services and opportunities in one accessible, welcoming place where decisions are made with communities, not for them.
This is where “Grove” comes in. The Grove is the national infrastructure that supports, protects and connects local Citizen Hubs. It provides governance, playbooks, training, safeguarding, impact measurement and peer learning while each Hub remains locally-led and shaped.

We're excited to be opening our second Citizen Hub in Wimbledon, South West London. Building on the success in St Neots, this hub will bring the same trusted, citizen-led approach. The Wimbledon site is being developed with local partners and community voices from the start, so it reflects the needs and energy of the place it serves.
We are holding an open day on the 21st of January for anyone who wants to see the space, meet the team, and hear about what's coming. So if you work in the area, live locally, or just care about the future of Wimbledon, drop in any time between 9am and 9pm to share your thoughts. You can find us at 267 The Broadway, SW19 1SD. Please email wimbledon@citizenhub.co.uk for more information.
The first Citizen Hub started as a social experiment, to find an alternative solution for a place with no job centre. Since then the Citizen Hub in St. Neots has become essential civic infrastructure, providing support, opportunity and belonging.
3,000 people engaged with the Hub in its first phase, 700+ residents were socially prescribed skills or support services, and over 200 job applications have been submitted into the local economy.
The learning from St Neots underpins everything we are now scaling nationally.

We're proud to share that the Citizen Hub network has secured £100,000 from Lloyds Bank Foundation to support our next phase of growth. This funding marks a shift from pilot to scale. Not scaling a building, but scaling a system of belonging, access and opportunity that communities can own and shape.

As we prepare to scale into new communities, we're keen to hear from people and organisations who share our belief in community-led support, local resilience and long-term growth. Whether you are exploring bringing a Citizen Hub to your area, interested in partnering, or want to understand how this model could support the people you serve, we'd love to start a conversation.
Please reach out using the form below or to info@citizenhub.co.uk and a member of the team will be in touch.
